About

Dr Emily Shao is a dermatology registrar with interests in complex medical dermatology, skin cancer detection, paediatric dermatology, hair disorders, and cosmetic dermatology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and trained at several hospitals across Queensland.

In addition to dermatology training, Emily has extensive experience in general medicine, holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of Queensland through QIMR Berghofer.

Dr Shao is trained in treating numerous medical disorders of the skin, hair and nails, including but not limited to:
